Our camper is 1 year old with a 2 prong fuse and its a piece of junk too. Every time our campgeound loses power, it screws up our fridge. Last time i pulled the 2 prong fuse out and the fridge kicked back on when i plugged it back. We're fighting it again and it tries to turn on but turns back off 😡 This thing makes us hate our camper so much

You are going to have to get used to this.the sensers are allways going to be a problem.my bronco raptor who I beat the shit out of took it like a champ.but I was plagued with sensor issues.and the losers that talk about ford no one makes a vehicle like this no one! So laugh all yiu want its the very best truck on the market by alot! Maybe you losers are not noticing the issues with the new tundra.the new tacoma.the chevy zr2 bison in a pos.ford destroys everything in most catigories!

A lot of car companies do this kind of thing. Its not uncommon to be digging around a base model and randomly find wire harnesses with caps or "No Wheres" where they go off to some unknown place and arent being used. What they actually are is features you dont get in a base model you would have to pay to add yourself. If you are good at forums, go hunting for some of these. I managed to add heated seats and mirrors in my Mitsubishi Mirage with a Nowhere Wire that was pre installed. Keep in mind I bought the car in Florida and when I moved up to Indiana I needed it, so I searched the junkyards. The heating element had to be swapped in though. That was when I also found out I could put a stock sub in the back! So I did that too! Ive seen people ask "What does this wire go to?" Turns out its also for a feature if they got for example, a premium tech package vs the base package. Meaning they would have to swap out some things to get access to that feature. Even my 88 Dodge got the Nowheres for a power mirror set. My 93 Stang had some leftovers for a premium GT package.

So they can charge you for what they pay for the sub combo and really upcharge the real sub combo.

What octane rating did you have for the 0-60 test? Ive seen 93 get this truck in the mid/low 5s, and low 6s with 87. Pretty crazy pump gas difference.

Well it's anecdotal but I have Had my RR in much more difficult terrain and mud and water with no issues yet, I enjoy it more than my bronco and my F150 Raptor overall.

Ford ran into a chip shortage during the pandemic. The base 7 speaker system comes with the sub that required some of the shortage chips. It was easier to put in dummy hardware then have to redesign that part of the vehicle in order to keep the production lines going knowing that they'll eventually have the chips to fully install the sound systems. It doesn't really have anything to do with Ford trying to make things easier for the consumers. If anything consumers that did get the bass sound system received a credit and were forced to install aftermarket components if they wanted a sub.

I have a Ranger Raptor in Australia and i have bought a steel aftermarket protection kit for the those sensors and have never had a problem with mine...

For everyone saying she answered her own question, she did not. Ford did not design it for aftermarket modding. Most likely the reason was that Ford designed the vehicle with a subwoofer and most likely integrated structural or sound deadening components into the subwoofer structure, but the parts for the woofer and amplifier were not available to be put in, due to a supply shortage. It may have cost more money to resign the part and/or cancel the contract to mold the part (keep in mind these vehicles are produced for 5+ years so contracts are usually about as long, if not more for future parts and repairs), so they just said screw it, and left it in.
